Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RentEases, operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them.

What we do. RentEases lets landlords list homes, tenants find them without brokerage, both parties record and pay rent, raise and track maintenance issues, and lets apartment associations collect funds from residents. We never receive or hold rent or society dues: they are paid by UPI directly from the payer to the landlord's or association's own account. We are not a party to any rental agreement between a landlord and tenant, and we do not own or inspect properties beyond the verification checks we describe.

Accounts. You must give accurate information, verify your mobile or email, and keep your password safe. You must be 18 or older to hold an account.

Payments. Rent and dues are paid by UPI directly to the landlord or association. A payment is marked paid only when the receiver confirms it arrived; we are not responsible for payments made to a wrong UPI ID or not confirmed by the receiver. RentEases is free to use: we charge no fees. Records entered manually (e.g. cash) are the responsibility of the person entering them.

Acceptable use. No false listings, fake documents, harassment, or misuse of other users' data. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Liability. To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the previous 3 months.

Law. Indian law applies; courts at [CITY], Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
